Qualifications
• Must be a Western Chapter member for at least one year.
Responsibilities and time commitment
• Manage and administer the Chapter as a not-for-profit corporation.
• Create educational opportunities for Chapter members.
• Help the Chapter and IECA grow.
• Respond to member questions and concerns.
• Time commitment: Quarterly meetings plus subcommittee work totaling approximately 5–10 hours per quarter.
State Representatives needed for HI, NV, & AZ!
Eligibility: Must be a Western Chapter member who resides in (and represents) the state; this is a non-voting role.
Primary role: Serve as the primary liaison between the Western Chapter (IECA) and stormwater/erosion control professionals in your state.
Advocacy: Represent and advance the IECA mission to the public.
Communication: 2–4 times per year, you may share state-relevant articles, news, or project photos (optional; minimal time commitment).
Local engagement: Flag state-specific issues, training needs, and regulatory changes; suggest training/education initiatives or local events; provide input and assistance when events occur in your region.
Term: 2 years.
