It was a pleasure connecting with you, and we hope you found the conference experience valuable—discovering new products and solutions, gaining fresh insights, and engaging in meaningful conversations with colleagues from across the industry.
We’d now like to invite you to take the next step and get more involved with your PNW Chapter. Your experience and perspective can make a real impact.
Our Chapter is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated members interested in supporting our mission to educate and share knowledge in erosion, sediment, and stormwater control.
- Election period: April 1–30
- Terms begin: May 1
Time Commitment
Board members attend four virtual board meetings per year (approximately 1.5 hours each), along with role-specific responsibilities.
Current Board Opportunities
- Strategic Partnerships – Collaborate with State Vice Presidents on initiatives, ideas, and activities that strengthen the Chapter.
- Washington State Representative – Support education, events, and local engagement within Washington.

*Secretary/Treasurer* – Oversee financial records, reporting, and administrative payments. Our administrative team handles meeting minutes, allowing you to focus on core financial responsibilities.
*We recognize the Treasurer role requires a greater commitment and welcome arrangements where a candidate’s company administrator or bookkeeper assists with routine tasks as a donated service to the Chapter.
Serving on the board is a rewarding opportunity to contribute your expertise, expand your professional network, and help ensure our Chapter remains strong, effective, and impactful.
Other Ways to Get Involved
If board service isn’t the right fit at this time, there are many other ways to contribute:
- Help organize a regional one‑day conference in your state
- Present a one‑hour webinar
- Share a short article, project photos, or video content for our newsletter or YouTube channel
