Drew Johnson, PE, is an Engineering Business Manager with Solmax and a licensed professional engineer based in Boise, Idaho. He works with engineers, contractors, DOTs, and owners throughout the Pacific Northwest to support resilient infrastructure solutions involving roadway reinforcement, erosion control, slope stabilization, and geosynthetics
Drew’s background combines civil engineering, environmental sciences, and business development. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Conservation from University of Florida and a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Before joining Solmax, Drew held engineering and business development roles with consulting firms, municipalities, and infrastructure manufacturers, building experience in transportation, commercial, hydraulics, and stormwater applications. Over time, he developed a passion for connecting technical engineering concepts with practical field solutions and industry collaboration.
As Strategic Partnerships Representative for the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association, Drew looks forward to helping strengthen relationships across the erosion control and infrastructure community while supporting collaboration between agencies, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and young professionals.
Outside of work, Drew enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, exploring the outdoors, and pursuing continuous personal and professional growth.
