COLLABORATE TODAY. SUSTAIN TOMORROW.

Regional Conference Reflections: A look back at our 2026 IECA Northeast Education & Field Expo
Our early June event was hosted in Downtown Concord, NH for lodging and social activities with classroom sessions and field expo demonstrations held nearby at New England College in Henniker, NH. The weather was perfect for outdoor learning
and networking. Several attendees enjoyed our opening welcome reception held at The Barley House.
Our keynote speaker, John Maclaine with Maine Department of Environmental Protection, kicked things off with his session opener on live staking and bio-engineering practices for stabilization and habitat. He was able to showcase some “Our Shore” approaches during his live staking demo.
Chapter member Mary Steblein moderated our Women in Construction panel focused on mentoring and development at all levels within the erosion and sediment control and stormwater management industries. From our four panelists we heard real-life personal accounts of empowerment, growth and diversity over several decades.
Congrats to Jeff Harris on being the recipient of the Chapter’s First Loyalty Award recognizing his sustained support in the Northeast.
Thank you to our chapter board members, sponsors, exhibitors, distributors and manufacturers who participated in our vendor display booths and outdoor field stations and demos. This hands-on experience gave participants a chance to see innovative products and solutions applied in real-world applications.
